The RBZ Harmony Universal RWD K-Series Swap Mounts are an adaptable engine mount solution for builders running a K24A or K20Z3 into a rear wheel drive chassis. The kit ships with a U-bracket that you finish into your specific chassis, letting you commit to the swap without waiting for a chassis specific kit to exist. Serviceable durometer inserts let you tune the feel of the build, and the brackets are CNC machined and TIG welded in-house, finished in Cerakote with Grade 10.9 hardware and genuine Nord-Lock washers. Designed, machined, and welded in-house at our Florida Atelier.

Compatibility Engine side: Honda K24A and K20Z3. The brackets bolt to the engine in their standard mount locations. Other K-series variants may work, contact us before ordering to confirm.
Chassis side: Universal. The U-bracket is designed to be welded or bolted to your chassis at the position that works for your build. Fabrication is required on the chassis side, which is intentional — it is what lets the kit work across so many platforms.

The engine side does the precision work, so all the variability lives on the chassis side where you need it.

What does universal mean here? The engine side of the mount is finished and ready to bolt to a K24A or K20Z3 in its factory mount locations. The chassis side ships as a U-bracket that you finish into your specific frame, by welding, bolting, or building a sub-structure to suit your build. That setup lets the same kit work across many RWD chassis without us needing to produce a dedicated version for every platform.
What chassis does this fit? Any rear wheel drive chassis where you are willing to fabricate the chassis side mounting point. Common applications include vintage Japanese trucks and roadsters, kei trucks, classic European chassis, and one off project cars. If you have a specific chassis in mind, send us a message and we can talk through your setup.
What engines does this work with? Designed around the Honda K24A and K20Z3. The engine side bracket follows the standard K-series mount geometry, so most K-series variants will bolt up. If you are running a less common variant, confirm with us before ordering.
Do I need to weld? Yes, in most cases. The U-bracket is designed to be welded into the chassis at the position that suits your engine placement. Some builders prefer to bolt the U-bracket to a fabricated sub-frame, which is also fine. Either way, fabrication on the chassis side is part of the install.
Can I run different stiffness depending on use? Yes. The inserts are fully serviceable and available in multiple durometers. Run a softer insert for street comfort or a firmer one for track use. You can change the feel of the mount without replacing the entire assembly.
What is the finish? Cerakote, a ceramic based coating originally developed for military applications. Compared to standard powder coat, it offers better resistance to chips, heat, chemicals, and UV fading, which matters in the engine bay environment.
What makes the hardware different? We use Grade 10.9 bolts paired with genuine Nord-Lock wedge locking washers. Nord-Lock washers are used in aerospace and rocket engine applications because their wedge geometry, rather than friction, holds bolted joints secure under extreme vibration.
Are these mounts strong enough for high horsepower or turbo builds? Yes. They are built with the same materials and standards as our dedicated kits. The geometry and welds are designed for sustained track abuse and high torque applications.
Can I order custom durometer inserts? Yes. If the standard options do not match what you need, send us a message before or after ordering and we can discuss custom durometer options.
Are these mounts compatible with both the Suzuki Samurai K24 swap kit and the S2000 K24 swap kit? No. The Universal RWD mounts are intended for chassis we do not yet have a dedicated kit for. If you are building a Suzuki Samurai or Honda S2000 with a K-swap, look at our chassis specific kits, they are finished on both sides and require no fabrication.
